DIY wall art from foam board

I was invited to be a guest blogger at decor8 and submit a DIY project. It went up yesterday, so if you want to learn how to make some wall art out of foam, head on over to read the tutorial. You can hang these pieces up with tape or wall putty, so it's a good project for dorm rooms or apartments. Holly included a request to send her your photos if you make this, and she'll post her favorites. I'd love to see, too.

P.S. I bought this black and white paper at Paper Source. It's slightly textured and very cool. I don't know who designed it.)

  1. You can make all kinds of craft backing with rigid foam, some of which you may have left over from packages! In higher densities, polyethylene foam is rigid enough to be a mounting medium and is incredibly easy to cut to shape. It's also very light.
